ABOUT ME ✌️❤️🖊️

Howdy! I’m Kat, a copywriter and creative director based in beautiful Austin, Texas. I’ve been writing, doodling, and making things ever since I could hold a pencil and, eventually, a wood sander.

These days, I focus on social-first writing and brand voice work for CPG and purpose-driven companies, helping them show up clearly, confidently, and like real humans. My recent projects include a vegan cheese company, three European cheese labels, a cheese dip and spread (yes, all the cheese), an Fair Trade soap collection, and an Italian pasta label.

I’m drawn to food and lifestyle brands because I love seeing how people eat, cook, shop, and engage with the trends that shape their choices, which is why I spend a lot of time on TikTok “for research.”

I also stay busy as Chief Communications Officer for Rally 4 Rescue, an Austin nonprofit that connects my community to local animal rescues through volleyball tournaments and fundraising. When I’m not writing or planning events, you can catch me belting Lady Gaga while refurbishing furniture, cooking, or spending time in the great outdoors. I live in South Austin with my husband and our cat, Aidee the Chicago Street Cat.
