Supporting Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s Growth with Our City, Our Shakespeare
As Chicago Shakespeare Theater outgrew its Navy Pier location, the nonprofit needed additional funds to expand into a third theater, known as The Yard. To help achieve this goal, the Our City, Our Shakespeare campaign was launched, targeting Chicago’s affluent theater-goers. The campaign connected with local audiences and rallied support from the community, encouraging donations while highlighting the importance of expanding the theater’s space to accommodate its growing audience. By engaging the city’s cultural enthusiasts, the campaign fostered pride in the theater and its mission, helping secure the resources needed to build a new chapter for Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
